British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is heading to Paris to continue talks on Brexit. Johnson is calling for the Brexit deal to be re-negotiated. He says the provision for the Irish border – known as the backstop – has to go. It’s a demand the French president rejects. But at a meeting in Berlin on Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she thought Britain could still leave the EU with a deal.
