On September 16, 2012, Susan Rice who is now on Joe Biden’s shortlist for his running mate went on five, count ’em, FIVE Sunday Morning talks shows to flat out lie about the cause for the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi. This task should have belonged to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton but she was smart enough to know that repeatedly telling such a blatant and provable lie would be toxic for her planned presidential campaign four years later. So Rice was given the assignment of being the fall guy (person) since they didn’t think at the time she had a future career in politics. Her lie might have been a bit more believable if she blamed the attack on people watching a video of Pauly Shore in “Biodome.”
