The 2019 UK general election results are in and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservatives have won an outright majority in the UK election. The opposition Labour Party has suffered a historic defeat. Boris Johnson’s gamble to call a snap election just before Christmas has paid off after his Conservative Party won.
