Kashmir: The controversial deaths causing tension

Six weeks since the Indian government revoked Indian administered Kashmir’s special status, the region remains volatile and tense. Mobile phone networks and internet lines are still suspended. Political leaders remain in detention . Tens of thousands of troops continue to be deployed in the region. Clashes have been breaking out between anti-government protesters and security forces. There are conflicting accounts of the number of people who’ve died in such incidents, and how they were killed. The BBC spoke to the families of some of those affected by the unrest, and also investigated claims that children are being illegally detained in many parts of the region. Our India correspondent Yogita Limaye reports from Srinagar.
